Reverse engineering is provided by Axist when a customer has a product available but not its technical drawing or Cad design.
This situation commonly happens during the development and prototyping phase for many consumer products which start to be conceived without a CAD model being available
These cases are approached by Axist by using optical digitizing systems, able to collect accurate clouds of points in very fast way: this the first step to the CAD model reconstruction.
In a later stage Axist technical department manages digitized data using solid modelers.
